The first plot which has been
cleared has outline planning permission to build a log cabin (which the
owner intends to retain) and is approximately 30m x 30m. Each plot is
expected to be 30m long approx, although the plots to narrow and then
widen slightly. Allowance will also need to be made for an access track,
proposed alongside the road. A plan will shortly be available. Mains

Believed to be 4064 Hectares in total. This is a narrow strip of land
situated between the A814 road to Arrochar and the scenic railway,
usually with 2 trains a day to both Oban and Mallaig (For ferry to the
Isle of Skye) including some steam trains. It is planned to divide the
land into 4/5 plots. The land is elevated and situated above a loch. The
land is approximately 30 metres at its widest point but narrows. It is
proposed to include an access track from the Green Kettle Inn car park,
along the road side to give each plot access to the A814. It should be
possible to construct a timber chalet on each of the 4/5 plots (subject
to planning permission). The first plot approx 30m x 30 m has been
cleared of trees and overgrowth. Loch Long is located not far from the
railway line. Continuing a little further along the A814 down the hill
towards Arrochar, there are parking areas on the loch side. Outline
planning permission has been granted to erect a timber chalet on this
